Nokia Philippines just announced the availability of their latest Windows Phone 8 handset, the Lumia 625, which is also their most affordable LTE device in the market at just Php13,200.The Nokia Lumia 625 has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a not-so-stellar 480 x 800 resolution (shouldn’t matter with WP8’s tiles though) for just 199 ppi pixel density. Nevertheless, that’s a huge leap from the 3.8-inch display of the Lumia 620.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 providing two Krait 300 cores clocking at 1.7GHz per core which is already more than enough for a Windows handset. There’s also an 8GB internal storage with microSD support for up to 64GB. RAM is still stuck at 512MB though.
Being a low-midrange device, the Lumia 625 has a 5-megapixel rear camera which can shoot Full HD videos. It also gets the benefit of the Smart Camera features found on the Nokia WP8 Amber update. Up front is just a VGA camera for 480p Skype video conversations.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is already available for just Php13,200 and you can purchase additional semi-transparent changeable shells in orange, bright green, yellow, white, and black. Package also comes with Coloud Boom earphones made specifically for Nokia.
