Dell recently launched an ultra-portable and affordable touchscreen-enabled Windows 8 laptop in the form of the Inspiron 11 3000.
The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 is very portable with its 11.6-inch, 10-finger capacitive touch display, a starting weight of just over 3 lobs. and a body that’s only 21.2mm thin. To keep things interesting, it also has a spill-resistant keyboard and a gesture-supported multi-touchpad.
This laptop is running on Windows 8.1 and is powered by a Haswell-based 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Celeron 2955U processor, along with a 2GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. There’s no optical drive here but you’ll get two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, multimedia card reader, HDMI and a LAN port. There’s also an HD webcam with noise-cancelling, dual-array microphones for clearer video conferencing.
Dell claims that their Inspiron 11 3000 can go up to 8 hours and 20 minutes on a single charge. It will be available starting next week for only Php24,990.
